Addressable Public Address System

System Overview:

The purpose of an Addressable Public Address (PA) System is to provide precise and targeted communication within specific zones or areas of a building or facility. Addressable PA systems allow operators or automatic systems to direct announcements or messages to particular locations, floors, or departments as needed. This targeted communication is valuable in large and complex environments. Addressable PA systems enhance communication efficiency, reduce confusion, and improve overall coordination during emergencies and regular operations.

System  Components:

The Addressable Fire Emergency Public Address System consists of Addressable speakers with beacons, Addressable driver modules, the Control Panel, and 2x 1.5 sqmm copper cable. The speakers are strategically positioned throughout the building to facilitate communication during emergencies.

Statutory Compliance:

Installation of the Addressable Public Address System is a mandatory requirement as per the National Building Code (NBC) 2016, specifically under Part 4, Clause 4.9 C.

Addressable Speaker Driver Module

Model No:AA104SPD

Speaker Module Overview:

In our Addressable Speaker System, a 2-core cable links the control panel and field devices, serving multiple functions including power delivery and transmission of control, monitoring, and audio signals.

The Addressable Speaker Drivers Module serves as the vital link between the signal bus, detecting control panel commands (such as ON, OFF, and health checks) and receiving audio signals from the bus. It features a built-in audio amplifier to drive the speaker.

Flexibility to use Third-Party Speaker:

For enhanced performance and flexibility, users can integrate higher capacity speakers, ceiling mount speakers, horn speakers, or flame-proof speakers from external sources with our Addressable Speaker Drivers Module.

Addressable Speaker with Light

Model No:AA104SPLS

Addressable Speaker with Light:

Our standard Addressable Speaker unit with integrated lighting features a 5-watt speaker and add-on lighting for alert and emergency escape and evacuation purposes.

Control panel features :

  • Interactive TFT display with touch screen control.
  • Two-wire system for power, data , forward and reverse audio signaling.
  • Power supply management system.
  • Password security.
  • Event logging system.
  • Short circuit Protection .

Notably, this control panels innovative design allows it to connect and control the Talkback Unit using just two wires for Power, data, Forward and Reverse Audio signaling. This ground-breaking feature significantly reduces cable requirements.

Regarding power supply, the control panel operates on 24 volts DC. It also includes a built-in 230 volts to 24 volts SMPS (Switched-Mode Power Supply) and a battery charger provision for batteries. Users have the flexibility to choose between the built-in power supply or connect it to an external 24-volt supply, as required.

To ensure system reliability, sustainability, and compliance, the Addressable Talkback system utilizes addressable technology, providing precise location identification and enabling interactive features between components.

Each loop can output up to 1.2 amps.

Devices come with factory-set software addresses based on the order specifications. If there is a need for address modifications, this can be done using the control panel.

Primary control panel is equipped with a single loop.

Incorporating Loop Cards:

When the system necessitates more  number of loop, we have the option to introduce loop expansion boards. Each loop expansion board can accommodate up to 3 loops. These loop cards are plug-and-play modules, and depending on the specific site requirements, multiple loop cards can be added to extend the panel’s capacity, allowing for a maximum of 4 loops.

The control panel logs all call and fault history events, aiding in performance assessment during normal days and emergencies.

Wiring and Short Circuit Isolator:

The system requires 2-core cable, simplifying connections between Talkback speakers and the control panel with the option for tee joints and tree wiring. A short circuit isolator monitors and detects overcurrent issues, isolating faulty circuits and notifying maintenance personnel for appropriate action.
